So our welcome pack from The Wildlife Trust suggested we take five minutes to discover a fact about slugs and snails, so heres our slug fact...

...Slugs too often get blamed for eating chrysanthemums when it may not be the case. Having made the usual assumption, we caught our culprit.. it was a resident squirrel. Squirrels are particulary partial to flowers such as Chrysanthemums due to the high sugar content these plants offer.
